and AtlGuy39, you don't need to go to Arkansas or Texas to find good getaways. In fact, Oklahoma has more natural Beauty than Texas. You just have to know where to look.

I mainly stay here b/c of family ties and my church in which I am pretty well deep rooted. Also in this state you can count on your legislators to vote the proper way on most things.

So when are Oklahoma legislators going to do the proper thing by voting to legalize marijuana, or at least for medical purposes? Some Oklahoma parents with severely epileptic children find it next to impossible to move to Colorado to take advantage of the Charlotte's Web strain as seen on CNN. Oklahoma legislators need to show some compassion toward these children, rather than raise their cowardice toward the issue.

I'm pretty impressed that Brad Pitt and Ron Howard are from Oklahoma. Compared to much more populated Pennsylvania, Oklahoma has quite a few powerhouses on that list. Forgive me for saying, I suspect the desire to escape Oklahoma might have contributed to the state's contribution to the famous people list. Though you love Oklahoma. Admit it. You know it's true.
