We filed eviction on a tenant, when the sheriff came out they paid money in full so we gave them more time to get out of the house. Now tenant is refusing to leave, can I call the sheriff and have them come back out or do I have to start the process all over again.

I think that would be a great question to ask your lawyer...

You could ask in the realtor forum, but from what I've read you'll have to start all over. Good deeds don't go unpunished ya know. Good luck.

Anytime you accept money from a tenant before you go to court, you have to start the process all over again. It's the law. If you want them out, refuse to take money.

Yep, you have to start the process all over. You should have evicted them when you had the chance.
