Moving....
ok well hey hey everybody!!...since im in cali my grandma has been talking about moving...not cali..but just to a different part of OKC. Where were located in Norman its not the prettiest nor i guess the safest my grandma says. She would love to move near the college were its much nicer or maybe Edmond, Bethany, Yukon. Now i have no clue if they are nice areas or not but i was hoping you guys can help and maybe give other cities that would be good for us. Its me my grandparents and my 4 other siblings and she wants safer schools, nicer neighborhoods, just overall better. Please give me info on those towns and others that you think are GREAT!

I'm a little surprised that your grandma thinks your part Norman is not safe, but I guess she knows best. Closer to the college would be nice and prettier, but not many homes are ever for sale there.
I like Yukon a lot, even though I have never lived there. I have been in that town a few times in the last few weeks on business, and I have been impressed by the people there. It is not the prettiest area though, IMO.

OKC! Why not consider moving into the Deep Duece apartments. All the action you would want which is a walk away from Btown/Dtown and Midtown is really looking good. I just depends on what you like. Sometimes a Grandma will not be informed of what is really going on in the core of OKC. I have witnessed it too many times.
Norman is a beautiful town. Obviously there are bad parts in all cities but Norman has many beautiful homes with huge trees. The west side of Norman has an Edmond feel to it and is really nice also. Check that out so you can still be close to OU.
EDIT...Whoops you are looking for a home. Depends on the price in OKC. Many great historic neighborhoods.

I live in Yukon and have pretty much my whole life. I will say that I like it much better than when I was living in OKC. There are all different types of homes from the starter homes all the way up to the nicest of the nice. There are some of the cookie cutter homes in the newer neighborhoods as well as some very nice newer homes and some that give you wide open spaces with large trees and big yards. I would stay out of the very middle of Yukon but there are many options which will still keep you close to town as well as the highway and turnpike.
