I'm looking forward to those pictures. I'll probably cry on my keyboard when I see a picture of the Coach House. We miss it so much.

Thank you for all the pictures, Happyguy!! I didn't realize how much I loved OKC until we left. I volunteered at the Myriad Gardens, so I especially enjoyed those pix. Looking forward to pictures of my other volunteer place - Air/Space Museum at Omniplex (hint hint). Sorry you can't take pictures of the place we worked...Tinker wouldn't take kindly to some guy wondering around with a camera.

I am really happy you enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane. I will try to take pics of all the neat areas of OKC. I will def be getting more pics of NHills along with Crescent/NH Plaza. I am also planning on hitting the Adventure district which would include Science Museum Oklahoma (omniplex). Many places to cover!

Great photos HT. That last one is a rendering, but of what? Is it the airport?
Thanks again.

That must be the airport, Synopsis. I haven't been there in a while, but the area where you see the pool really need improvement! It looks very nice in that rendering.

The shiny buildings on the left are some sort of industrial buildings. They do look kind of pretty in that picture, don't they?

Nice pictures, HT, but I like your own pictures too.

Synopsis, here is a link to what has happened to the airport. It currently is going through some major upgrades divided up into 3 phases. It finally looks like a nice airport.

here is a link...
Google Image Result for http://www.airport-technology.com/projects/will-rogers/images/7s-will-rogers-airport.jpg

The pic was a conceptual rendering of what the airport or whatever wanted.
The designs basically stayed the same except Will was put on a horse instead of just standing there.

Here are some pics...

I think the steel structures are grain feeders...They will be destroyed in probably 5-8 yrs from now. I will actually miss the industrial look, but the core to shore plans will end up getting rid of them along with OKC Rocks which is a large grain unit. Hopefully OKC will at least keep the OKC Rocks climbing facility.

Cool older pic...Shows the downtown airport which will soon be destroyed and used for other forms of development. Hotel or something...

I NEED nature! A good country drive to some pretty lakes around Oklahoma would be really nice for pics. Thanks for telling me about it Peggy.
