I have gotten behind in my picture browsing, but just wanted to say that the pics on here are just beautiful!!! I wish we'd have taken an extra day and gone to see OKC.

2010, what are the buildings that have a blue tint to them? They are beautiful. I like the pic with the waterfall in the background, too. The streets made of bricks are gorgeous~I'm assuming that's part of Bricktown? My fave one is of the water canal (?) and surrounding buildings. I may have asked before, but was is the river that runs through there. Can't remember now.

Redbird, how do you luck out to be able to work in such a gorgeous building? It's much nicer then the one I work in. And what's the story behind the haunted staircase?

Cool. The homes in Lincoln Terrace have been recieving a lot of attention for renovations etc. I consider it to be a definite hot spot in the next 5 yrs.

I am really enjoying looking through all of the photos - it's helping me get aquainted with my new city.

This is the only photo I have so far...the view from the back porch of my new home, and one of my favorite things about Oklahoma - the gorgeous sunsets!

The red beacon on top of the First National Bank Tower indicated that the weather was going to worsen. When the weather was forecast to be nice, or unchanging, the beacon was green. I use to lie in bed and watch the beacon flash. The City National Bank building just to the north, and of similar height had a huge sign that alternately flashed the time and temprature. This was way back in 1966.
I was living in the Sunbeam Home while my mom was recovering from a long illness. It was, and still is at 620 NW 21.
I live in Pryor now, and I want to go back to OKC. I am so homesick! Thanks for the photos.
