You'd think that if OKC were as rotten as some of our board participants indicate................

We would have made this list of America's most MISERABLE cities.

America?s Unhappiest Cities: The other kind of depression - BusinessWeek

It's funny what cities did make this list.

Atlanta, Jacksonville, and KCMO which seem to be among the favorites of some of our biggest OKC bashers.

I figure we didn't make it because us Okies are just too damn dumb to know better.

It's probably because of all that sun and mild weather you have there much of the time

Thanks for posting that. I actually quit coming to the Oklahoma forum for quite a while because of 1 person who was constantly treating everyone like they were stupid, and constantly whining about how much he hated it here. He supposedly moved, but in practically every post he makes in other forums are about Oklahoma. For instance, the Would you move to Moore, Ok. if you were given a house? or something like that. It's funny because he tries to act like he's too good, and far too superior to live here, and it just comes off, IMO, like someone here has broken his heart big time. Who keeps demeaning a state where they no longer live?

All the sun and mild weather are what I dislike about Oklahoma. It's too hot, too bright. We had a nice, cool winter this last winter, and I'm loving all this rainy weather.
