Question Moving To Okc

Hey, Im 21 years old, male, brazilian and by february next year Im planninŽto go to USA to study english for 6 months... i need a help bout what city to choose among OCK, INDIANAPOLIS, DENVER, CHARLOTTE... Is OKC safe? friendly? u might be wondering why iŽd choose OKC... people in Brazil just think bout NYC, LOS ANGELES, BOSTON.... but i wanna stay away from brazilians..... so if ya could help me telling me a lil bit bout OKC iŽd be happy.

Well my husband and I just got back from a little trip out to OK and we were in OKC, Tulsa, and Norman and we really loved OKC and Norman. People are very friendly and it is just a beautiful state. We actually drove from California through Arizona and through New Mexico and Texas and once we got to OK it was just a beautiful site! I hope that helped a little.

Oklahoma City is an okay place ~ you won't find many Brazilians there :-) Crime is about the same as any other large city. Some areas of town are better than others ~ for the most part you'll find Okies are friendly and warm folk. Norman is a great place, too. The university is there (OU) and it's a little more progressive and sophisticated. Either city would be a good choice.

Go to Nashville! It's a beautiful, exciting and modern city. Oklahoma City wouldn't be my first or second or third choice. There are many better cities in the US to see and explore.
