Does anyone have a legit article actually saying it will be 850'? I have just heard rumors.
Anyway, 850' is still awesome. If it is truly 850' then it will probably fit better in the skyline...

Final numbers are 850 ft, 50 floors. Devon decided to build their data center near Will Rogers World Airport for disaster recovery reasons, which is the reason for the change.

You guys also have to take into account the engineering that goes into these buildings. You can't simply build exactly to the height you want. Once the final engineering specs are calculated, the final height is always different.

i was a little let down at first, because having a building over 900 ft in this city was just mind blowing to me. guess what? at 850 ft its still mind blowing. a ginormous structure for sure!

It would have been great to be able to say "over 900' " but 850 is basically 5 stories shorter and on a building this size wouldnt be that noticeable. Still going to be a very striking building.

I'm just curious, I've tried to research it and can't find any information on what kind of shadow this building will cast. I know in a lot of urban markets this is checked before approving the zoning for extremely tall buildings as the affect to real estate cast into shadow can be substantial. We've got a great thing going with the bricktown real estate market... will this affect bricktown?what about the other downtown office buildings? has this been researched and has anyone seen what the results will be like?I'm all for growth in oklahoma city downtown, but we want to be careful to preserve the integrity of what we have as we expand.
