I know it wouldn't be hard.. There's those things called reclads that they put on some buildings.. Completely transforms the look of the tower.

I'm an architect grad student with a mild fascination with OKC. Your mayor seems intelligent and progressive about future development.
Besides the high-rise(s), the use of the site (parks, river, existing context) around the new Blvd/space after highway demolition- seems to be well thought out and appropriate for the city.
Good going OKC

Very much so... And he's a nice guy. And approachable. Quite the opposite of his predecessor.

He's better than Kathy Taylor, that's enough for me.
I don't know if everyone's heard yet but the recent rumors are saying that the Devon Tower will be 750 feet tall, making it the tallest building west of Chicago. (with the exception of the West Coast states Washington and California)

That would be cool. I dont think it will exceed 700, but that is my opinion. If they put some kind of spire on it it could reach up to 750 or maybe even 800. Looking forward to the designs!

Holy crap Batman this tower is ridiculousllly beautiful and extremely tall!!!!!!
Pics soon to come....
Official:
925 feet tall
54 floors
1.9 million square feet of space
20th tallest buliding in the country. ALL GLASS.
Info on Devon Tower
Devon Energy Tower
59th tallest in the world!
"The building floors will range from 25,000 to 28,000 square feet. The tower will appear to float in the reflecting pool that rings its base. Several glass enclosed atria spaces will be incorporated within the development. THe focal point of the space is a six-story glass rotunda, located in line with the Harvey Avenue access drive, which will serve as the primary pedestrian entrance for both Devon employees and the general public".

Cool! I really like the beveled top. This will be a great addition to your skyline.

Would this be considered a supertall? It is actually taller than anything in Dallas. Its a freak of architecture. Icon for the state would be an understatement.

That's a good question. I think supertall is subjective, but i would say this qualifies. It is 4 ft taller than the tallest building in Dallas. That's cool, i don't think it's a competition. I think you'll find that most people in Texas have a very positive view of Oklahoma, and those that don't are compensating for their own shortcomings.
