OKC is noooo Dallas...So dont think I am being competitive. Its just a great comparison, because Dallas and Houston have some AWESOME skyscrapers.

I didn't take anything negative from that. I think this is as good a design as i have seen. I hope you will keep posting photos as the construction progresses. Maybe they will setup a Devon cam, that would be cool. If you hear of something like that, post it so i can check in on it.

But any day we out do Texas is a sweet day Of course I don't doubt that Dallas, Houston, maybe even Austin will propose something taller by the time this is completed in 2012.
It would be the 21st tallest in the US and 59th in the world. Only NYC and Chicago have taller buildings under construction right now. Miami and Nashville have slightly taller buildings approved but not under construction yet. I saw the Trump Tower in Chicago earlier this month and it's a beast
The only cities with taller buildings are:
Chicago
NYC
Atlanta
LA
Houston
Philadelphia
Cleveland
and Seattle (in order)

Good luck. I'm sure you'll do fine. What is your major, or have you not picked one yet?

They plan to start in a year, Q3 2009 to be exact. Completion set for sometime in 2012, same year the new crosstown is supposed to be complete, we'll see...

A tad too tall for OKC right now in my opinion. I would have been happy with a 700 footer. Now we just wait..
