Wow, thanks for the OU well-wishes TX_AGGIE. Coming from a UF graduate, that really means a lot!

It sounds like your family is rich in football heritage. I'm officially envious!

There are a lot of good deals to be had in OkC. I'm sure that you can find what you are looking for in the area. I personally hope you choose OkC over New Mexico. Not that I have anything against NM, it is one of my favorite states and full of beautiful scenery with great weather.

But, OkC can always welcome another Texas Aggie to the fold. Texas A&M is one of my favorite universities.

Two more great options for you would be Blanchard and Newcastle. These areas will see nice appreciation in the future.

I agree the Blanchard/Newcastle/Tuttle area would be perfect for you. You can get to almost anywhere in OKC within 30 minutes from these places.

Oh yeah, Mustang has some rolly hills and 70s style houses just south of town on 5 acre lots. It is a bigger town than the three I mentioned above and it is closer to OKC.

I have been there since 2000. There might be one Chinese restaurant, but I haven't been there. Carlitos Mexican has THE BEST chili rellenos on the planet. If you are looking for dining experiences you won't find it in Newcastle. It seems to be building up to be Midwest City's up anc coming comptetion for most fast food per capital!
For Chinese PF Changs on north side, check out Meridian and I-240.
Newcastle is not for the easily bored...get a horse, a tractor and know yourself out!
