Default Best area/schools OKC to El Reno

I may be taking a transfer for my job to El Reno, OK. I know pretty much nothing about the area. What towns shoud I be looking at? I am a married father of two young girls. I want an area that has great schools and good housing. We don't want to be in OKC, but we want a town that has some of the convenieces. Decent restaruants and things of that nature. We looked online at Yukon and Piedmont. I would apprecieate any advice anyone has to give me. Thank you in advance.

Yukon would likely be your best bet. It's becoming suburban and has many shopping and eating oppurtunities, yet still maintains somewhat of a small town feel. Would be only 10 minutes on I-40 to El Reno. So you shouldn't have a commute over 20 minutes from anywhere in Yukon to anywhere in El Reno.

Ditto on that. We just bought a house in Mustang and moved into it back in February. We're very happy with the town, and I've been subbing in the Mustang School District, which I am impressed with. My daughter is at the high school as well and is making a very nice adjustment.

we moved to Mustang back in February and love it. My daughter is still going to her old school in PC district, but if you like rural areas, check out Union City/Banner schools.
Yukon, Piedmont, Mustang or even Okarche.
