Norman or Moore High Schools
I'm relocating to the OKC area, probably to Norman or Moore. Since I have a 15 year-old daughter who will be a junior next school year, I need info on the High Schools in Norman and Moore. She's academically-inclined and plans to take as many AP and Honors courses as she can. She's especially interested in knowing which high schools have good Latin teachers (her favorite subject). She's also planning to continue with Pre-Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry and would like to know who are the recommended math and sciences teachers at these schools. Thanks.

Congratulations on having such a gifted child! I might choose Norman, because your daughter could also conveniently take courses at OU while she is in high school.

Well, she's bright and works hard, not necessarily gifted. Shhe's just looking for the best high school prep for whatever she chooses to study in college.

Moore is also opening a new high school this coming school year. I think it's called Southmoore, but not real sure. You can check their website.

That works too! She obviously has worked hard to get where she is and where she will end up. And you can say she is gifted with an outstanding work ethic.
Sorry, I don't have insight as to your original question, but just wanted to pop in and post that.

We just moved back from California to Norman because of the great school system. One of the Best AP Physics teachers MR. Askey teaches at Norman High.

They are about the same
Both School systems rate the same in performance and both have a full range of AP classes. furthermore both schools have about the same amount of students per school. However Moore does have a brand new highschool that will open this fall called Southmoore and their mascot will be the Sabercats. But here check out the sites.

My children went to Westmoore high and now Moore high and I would have to say Westmoore is more educated.
