It's amazing what a difference recycling can make. When we first moved here, we threw everything away because there was no recycling pickup. Our one garbage can was overflowing every pickup day. Then we found out where the recycling center was and started recycling. Now we NEVER fill up the garbage can, and some times it contains only one bag for the whole week. It sure makes a difference.

Us too (not having a full trashcan)! Isn't it funny when you look at your neighbor's trahscan overflowing and wonder how in the world did their trashcan get so full??? I truly wished more people would make a conscious effort and take the few seconds to recycle. What a difference it makes. As I have said before, I do not get not recycling if you live in an area that picks up your recycle items from your curb. I know we would recycle even if we had to take them some where. I would feel horribly guilty.

okcokc is on a distinguished road
It drives me crazy that OKC will pick up my trash, but I'm too rural for recycling. they told me that there is no drop off in the city and I am out of luck. Just moved here from Seattle and it kills me to put it all in the trash. Does anyone know of any drop off sites in Southern OKC, Moore, or Norman?
