Default Edmond apartments

I live in Edmond right now, but we're looking to a move in a few months anyways, so... who has experience with apartment complexes in Edmond? Or NE OKC--NW would be too far away for me, I think. Any recommendations or ones to avoid? I've lived in the same apartment complex for the past 3 years, so I haven't moved much.

Ya- I have experience. I know that renting a home is actually less than apartment. I dont know if you know much about OKC. Being a native i know it like the back of my hand. I personally would try to engage the known districts of OKC-like midtown, downtown, deep duece, little saigon, flat iron district, paseo art district/art community, western ave., adventure district, bricktown ect...look up OKC websites. Becareful of large complexes- i would much rather live in a cultural center than on the outside-but i am metro.

Avoid Hidden Village or anything owned by those managers.

I agree with the above poster. Rent a home. College Park (122nd to 118th) area has a lot of places you can rent out and it's right close to Quail Springs Mall.

You should check out the area around Quail Springs mall, there are some very cute apartments very reasonably priced. You can get twice the square footage out there for the same price you would pay in Edmond. Also, the traffice isn't bad if you use the turnpike or Hefner Pkwy.
