What does a call center have to do with safety? Especially when the majority of call center workers can't get any other job, and the majority of those call center jobs are stress factories that pay crap. Now to answer your question. The majority of the Quail Springs area (which is not in Edmond, by the way) is middle, middle class to upper middle class. Those areas usually don't cater to riff-raff.

Yes, it's a safe area. A very nice area where people take care of their property and look out for each other...IMO.

Well, I work in a AAA call center here in Phoenix. It is not a stress factory and I make about 3x minimum wage. And I can get any job I want

Salary wise, I doubt you can raise a family on that. As far as stress factory, how long have you been employed there? I was at call centers for seven years (almost eight). EVERY ONE was a stress factory. Tell me it's not one after you've been there twenty years... If you last that long. (Stress, not a slam) One more thing. Get any job you want? I seriously doubt that. No one is THAT good... NO ONE! Plus. Read the post COMPLETELY. I said "majority." M-A-J-O-R-I-T-Y... MAJORITY.

No, you are not particularly honest. You are biased and opinionated and relatively unpleasant.

Generally, when people act like that in Oklahoma, they get their butts whipped by some good old boy hick........

My family is considering a move to the OKC area but we have enough bitter, cynical, snobs here in MD. We had thought that OK was a decent place to be and look forward to an OK move since we believe that we will find like-minded folks who are good-natured, helpful, kind-hearted and while honest, not make you feel less than for having crossed their paths. Any Okies in agreement here?

My family moved to OK at the end of February, this year from NJ. We have found everyone to be friendly, helpful, and in most cases courteous. My daughter found the kids at the high school to be "too cheerful" (she's gotten over that).

Hallway is a special person here on the forum. As far as I'm concerned, he gives me my daily laugh.

I think you'll find OK ok.
