Default I'm in Oklahomaaaaa

OKC to be more specific. There are placed to go, things to see today. And the temperature is ideal, just less than 80 degrees. I plan on going down to Bricktown and go from there, then I'm back to the hotel for a night's stay before flying back to California tomorrow morning. Will keep you all posted.

Glad you like the warmth because this is 15 degrees above normal. More like October 1st weather, I'd be disappointed, but at least you aren't.

Bail_Khan, we would look forward to you moving to OKC. Keep us posted on your decision. We just moved here from NJ about 9 months ago. We're very happy. I have one very happy teenager and one teenager still in NJ, who's coming back home to OK right after Thanksgiving. OK is a good place.

Any info you need, just ask.

Okay, okay, you guys are making me homesick for OKC. Well, at least I will get a small taste when I come back to visit family in December.

OPEN QUESTION: (Anyone can answer) Is there a section of OKC wise people would seek to avoid- from a crime/safety standpoint? Which sections are good? We are looking for a place in Edmond, but if we cannot afford it, what would be a good section other than Norman (which would be too far south?) We were looking at NW OKC and NE OKC as possibilities. Any ideas? Input? Thanks!

Let's see, the Britton area near Broadway Extension, west central OKC and south central OKC. Those are places I avoid. If you are looking at NE OKC, your best best is near Edmond, as their is little development in NE OKC north of I-44. If you are looking at NW OKC, there is an abundance of choices.

Google Oklahoma City Crime maps. It will give you an idea what areas are high crime.
