Need physician recommendations for Edmond area (Davenport: obgyn, insurance, live)

My family is moving to Edmond from out of state next month. I need some Dr. recommendations, and will match the names against our insurance provider's list.

Family Physician:
Dr. Bettina Veronneau (Mercy Health), 1575 North Santa Fe Avenue Edmond, OK 73003

She has been my favorite physician thus far in my life. She is very much into making sure her patients live a very healthy life style. She is not rushed and sits down and talks to you. I have had some special requests and she has honored them. It's important to have a doctor that listens to you!

Barry mitchell on Kelly is pretty good...although there was a member of his staff I didn't care for.

What I look for in a doc is one who is thorough, explains what he is doing and why, patiently answers all my questions and doesn't make me feel like he's in a hurry, and doesn't feel threatened by the fact that I don't trust docs due to bad experience and independently research whatever they tell me.

I have found only one who fills the bill and he happens to be in Edmond. His name is Jeffrey Davenport.

Not only does he do all of those things, he also does followups without being asked. If I postpone getting a test done or getting something resolved (chronic procrastinator, what can I say), his office makes darn sure I don't fall through the cracks. I've never had a doctor do that before.
