Dont, Carter park region is the worst kept and lowest income region of the east metro.

Now, are you referring the the Carter park region with the 700 sf flat top house's built in the 40's or are you referring to the Carter park region with the ranch style homes built in the late 50's. Big difference in quality of homes and building methods.

What ever you do, dont but any house located adjacent to the creek. Hugh flood plain issue.......

Dont buy anything in Del City or Midwest City.
Lets all face it.
Their crime is horrible.
Shootings; The whole nine.
Try Warr Acres or Bethany

I know that it's like FA said. Dont buy in DC, MWC is a little better but not by much.
DC has bad crime for such a small city, Lots of low income types, section 8 and worse. Neighborhoods that i dont feel safe in during the daytime.

I am 25, f, WHITE, and have bought the house of my dreams and yes, it is in MWC. I came out of mustang WHICH I COULN'T AFFORD but for a starter home this neighborhood is prime. I don't know where these people live that have posted above but it is very unfair to rag on areas you haven't even lived in. This area is very up and coming. Yes, of course you have to watch out for where but please don't dismiss the whole city. Bethany is way worse, that's why we chose MWC.

Now don't go about generalizing Bethany like they did Mid-Del. Reason I say that is I go to school there and used to live there. It seems perfectly safe in 90% of areas. Worst areas would be closer to 10th street.

This is true. In Bethany, crime is worse south of 23rd down to 10th street.
