looking for yound hip place to live in OKC
Hi, I will be in OKC for this upcoming summer and I am 21 years old. I want to live in a spot that is close to bars and other young people. What part of town would this be and there is the nightlife part of town.

Bricktown and also Western Ave area, which is close to Penn Square Mall and a bunch of restaurants and bars. I recommend stopping by Ednas!

Yep, western and bricktown are good suggestions, but I would recommend having a car to explore further. Gas is cheap and there are cool, little dives acoss the whole city. That's the magic of OKC - you'll come across some great hangouts in the most unexpected places.

Just to add....Paseo, Asian District, Penn Square Mall area, Auto Alley, Midtown (McNellies Public House etc). Dont forget Lake Hefner and Memorial Rd.
I love to see just Bricktown solely mentioned. It really is a testiment to OKC having a serious entertainment destination. I believe 4 new bars including a coyote ugly and more retail in BTown is on the way due to the NBA.

Edmond?
Why not Edmond...it's a college town, lots of young people, so I'm sure there are plenty of places for your age to go to.

Edmond? No way. I lived there for a year and was bored to tears. I would say Paseo or Western district. Norman if your into ethnic food. Yum. In Norman you can even *gasp* walk to places.
