We'll be out of a home in two weeks. We are simply bereft of money. We could go deeper in debt, but that is even more dangerous.
I'm thinking positive that I'll be able to get something soon; at least that is my attitude;
I am not giving up just yet.
I would however, like to ask for your prayers/thoughts. It would be very much appreciated.

Sorry to hear about that job not working out. At least if you move to Oklahoma, you'll fit right in ~ as most of us are bereft of money AND deeply in debt. At least I know I am.
Since you have prior dealings with Tribes in Oklahoma, maybe you check on some of the more progressive tribes for employment, such as the Citizen Pottawatomie.
Those 80+ casinos have a need for computer gurus. We will keep you in our prayers and keep an ear to the ground for some employment.

Thanks Colleen and redbird. We're still selling the house, and I am going to purchase the travel trailer. The only problem is I'll be without work. Hopefully we'll get enough for the house (IF it sells in this horrible market) to sustain us for awhile until I can find something.
The good thing is I'll be able to go where the work is with the travel trailer and not have to worry about rent and such.
Thanks all.

What sucks is that the employer in OkC (through a former colleague that now works there) kept telling me, "We're looking for someone in house and not a telecommuter."
Then, once I said, "Okay, I'll move up there" they suddenly hired someone overnight, literally. And this was after months of telling me they had an opening for someone in-house.
Something kind of stinks about that; kind of like there never was an open position to begin with.

If you are not making money, then the trick is to not spend any.
How about you park your trailer here, I can rig a hook up to the septic and electric, put a booster on my wifi so you can log on via Hughesnet without leaving your place, park it behind a couple trees and you won't see us and we won't see you. On days when we have to be out of town you could water the livestock and feed the dogs (4 of them...two we take with us), you can help out with the garden if you are into that sort of thing, if you want to get a horse or some cattle, we can handle that as well. If and when you get a job, you can move if you want. If you get a job in Tulsa, we are 45 minutes out, if you get one in OKC, we are 1 hour out, and if you get one in Stillwater, we are 30 minutes out.
What do you say? Wanna swap the occasional ranch hand chores for a place to live? Can't beat the price........

Sounds like a deal that can't be beat GP. I certainly appreciate the generous offer and would be glad to earn my keep looking over the place and taking care of the livestock/dogs while you are gone.
I first have to see if I can sell this house, purchase a travel trailer, and then it also appears that I will need at least a 1/2 ton truck to pull it. We are trying to sell my wife's 2000 Saturn (in excellent condition), and so it appears that I will also be selling my little Tacoma as it is too small to pull all but the smallest travel trailer and I want to get something that I can literally live out of full time.
I really appreciate the kindness of you and others on this forum. You're all really great people; true Okies, even those that weren't born there.
I'll be getting back with you GP. And once again, thanks.

Synopsis ...... don't look at it as a place to live in exchange of watering my bovine. Look at it as providing me with a different face to look at. Cause ... well, ya know
Come on down, pal!!

Just for general information, we have two half ton pickups. One 2008 quad cab and an old farm pickup........I don't think there would be much problem getting you moved.
Before you buy new, take a look at what is available used. If you have cash, I bet you could get something pretty nice for under $10k
Like Schousse said, come on down..............
