Default Recycling in Edmond/Logan County

I live in the northern part of Edmond that lies in Logan County and my subdivision has no recycling pick-up established. Can anyone give me information on how I could get that started in my neighborhood and in the interim, let me know where we can drop off our cans, bottles, plastics containers and bags, and paper products? I hate the idea of filling up the beautiful OK landscape with waste that can be recycled. Thank you.

I take my plastics to Midwest City (15th & Douglas). I would love to find somewhere closer.

I take the paper to a local high school.

Edmond has a recycling center off of Boulevard and 1st St that is open from 10-2 on Saturdays. All your recycling can be dropped off there. You will need to sort your glass by color though.

Is there still a plastics recycling center on 15th and Douglas?

What area do you live in? I too live in North Edmond... south Logan county.. Though I am not as concerned with getting recycling in my area, I don't even have trash pickup..

That area just north of the county line, from Waterloo to Simpson is in the Edmond school district and is part of Edmond.
