Default Weather?

Hello there
I am going to be an exchange at the University of Oklahoma this coming semester and I am going to stay until December 22nd. However I was wondering about the weather, I have heard that the summer is extremely hot but I was wondering if you know when will it start to cool down. Additionally I want to know what kind of clothes to bring, is autumn still hot?.
I also want to know if Norman, OK is bike friendly. I love to ride my bike and I don't want to stop once I get there.
Thanks for your help
Regards

Yes summer weather tends to be very hot. 90's are the norm and 100's aren't uncommon at all. It will start cooling down right at the start of the semester, although 90's remain normal through all of August. Lows in August tend to be a few degrees give or take from 70. In September 80's are the norm, but 70's and 90's are both likely, even 100's are possible at the very start of the month. October really starts to cool down, the month starts out near 80 and ends up in the 60's. The lows in September start in the high 60's but bottom out in the 50's by the end of the month. October nights begin to really cool down as well, with 50's typical to start and then 40's at the end. November will start in the mid 60's but end closer to 50, the beginning of the month occasionally has 70's and even a rare 80 degree day, while the end of the month can feature highs in the 30's and even some ice and snow, although generally not heavy. The lows will start in the 40's but bottom out near freezing at the end of the month. December is typically in the 40's for highs although 50's and even 60's aren't unheard of, of course it can stay in the 20's or even 10's all day long with snow and or ice. Lows average in the 20's but generally range between 15 - 40.

As for biking, I'm not sure since I never go to Norman, I'm just close by.

Norman is very bike friendly. Bike lanes abound, and the city is small enough that you can pretty much go anywhere on your bike. The only downer is the wind, which can turn a 15 minute ride into a 30 minute slog, but what are you gonna do?

Nameless summed up the weather pretty well. All I'll add is that Autumn was my favorite season in OK. Warm days, cool nights, perfect.
