Default Flu Shots??

so with all the news about flu shots and how important they are this year, um where exactly do you get them??

we are temporary residents and only here for 6 more weeks. We have used walk in clinics for any Dr needs, which has only been once. So we dont have a Dr. Unfortunatly Access, whih we use, does not offer flu shots. Every place we call that offers them, is only for adults...

So where can any of us go to get flu shots for the whole family?? Our kids are under 10.

what about the health dept, they always did it back home in Alabama. But I cant seem to find flu shot info for the health dept here.

Thanks, but i have read and seen alot of info on flu shots and it is a desision we have made for ourselves. I have a chronic illness and my Dr's advise that I get the flu shot because the flu could kill me. My children also run a chance of this as well. For us, it is a personal and important desision.

we were out of town for a few weeks so missed alot of the flu shots being offered. So looks like we'll just have to wait until our move next week to Memphis.

It's definitely a personal decision, Just to let you know that I am a doctor as well and it doesn't make sense that your doctor would recommend you to get one especially that you have a chronic illness. There is no way that putting mercury and other neurotoxins into your body will help you. These can actually harmfully affect your central nervous system and lower your immune system. If you watched the video the reason this happened to this poor girl is that the neurotoxins in the shot permanently damaged her brain and nervous system. Now if her brain is not communicating with the rest of her body properly... How do you think her immune system is functioning then? Or her organs? I am a nervous system specialists and it is definetly ur decision but I recommend you research a little more, especially non government or pharmaceutical sites. Which are propaganda to make more money. Here's one more thought for you... Do u think it makes sense for a child, maybe 50 pounds, to get the same shot with the same dosage as a 250 pound man? It is 10 times as dangerous for children... Sorry for the rant I just genuinely care... Try googling or YouTube flu shot side effects or flu shot ingredients...Another thing is every year they never get the right strand anyway, everyone that I know that got a flu shot still got the flu!
Here's a funny but serious video.

I really dont care if you are a Dr. That does not make you and expert on this subject. For all I know are someone who likes to go around acting like a Dr. (not sayng you ARE, it happens online all the time). I have seen MANY Drs who I wouldnt reccomend to my worst enemy, so strictly being a Dr doesnt make someone a person I would trust, KWIM?

I know many people with my same condition whose Drs also reccomend getting a flu shot. These are people who are all over the world and see a wide array of specialists. I have an auto imune illness and my body cannot fight of illnesses like a normal person. My body focuses on healthy tissues and attacks them while the virus runs rampant and I end up in the hospital fghting for my life. Yes, i'd rather have the shot and not have the flu. I had the swine flu a few weeks ago and it almost put me in the hospital. Did I get the swine flu shot? No. My Dr's advised against it, but did advise me to get the regular flu shot. I said I have read articles and have seen videos on this subject and have chosen to get this shot and have so for many years. I am well informed of the side effects of this vaccination. Dont assume because someone has chosen to get it, it means they are ignorant.

I dont think it's appropriate for any Dr to tell someone that is NOT their patient and is not informed of their current condition nor medical history what they should or should not do. I am guessing you are a Chiropractor? So, this sort of response doesnt really suprise me.I worked for Chiropractors for quite some time. I heard it all. I even saw one for a while. Guess what? I got worse, not better. In fact I have not been the same since. So please, I did not ask for medical advice, only where to get the shot in OKC.

Of the 100s of millions of people who have taken the flu shot for years and years... how many have had problems or died?

EVERY medication has it's side effects... but not everyone suffers from them. Perhaps there is some underlying medical condition or allergic reaction.

I am also tired of hearing about vaccines causing health problems with kids. Of course the vaccines are a common denominator between children with medical issues... then again they are also taken by 97% of the children in the country.
