Help me out. Since we moved, I haven't been able to find a new church that I really WANT to attend every week.
We've visited Henderson Hills. Very welcoming and I enjoyed it but it just didnt "speak" to me.
Lifechurch-- Visited, welcoming. But, a little over the top for me.
This is what I am looking for:
*A pastor that is genuine
*Music-- modern
*Either non denom or baptist
*Not too large of a church but not too small either. I dont want to be swallowed in to the congregation but at the same time I don't want to stick out like a sore thumb either.
*Casual dress
*active childrens ministry (I have a 5 yr old)

Although it's a very large church, I have loved going to Crossings Community Church at NW 150th and Portland. The music is so wonderful, it literally brings tears to my eyes at times. The sanctuary services are kind of a blended modern as far as music, they also have a 10:45 a.m. gym service with truly contemporary music. They have a great children's program and they have so much for adults you'll meet plenty of very nice people.
