I am searching for a deceased relative but am at a standstill on her whereabouts. MY father's sister died at a young age. I think it was between 1920-1928. The last I heard is she was buried in Bokoshe Oklahoma. That little town just east of MaCurtain Oklahoma. I would love to find out if she is buried in a cemetry there in Bokoshe. Does anyone have any information on the cemetries there. I don't even know where to start to look for the cemetry's. I hope someone out there can help me on this.. I was told her name was Ivy or Iva Meeks. Not sure if that is her first name or not, They did not have birth certificates when she was born, nor did they have social security numbers. If someone can help me I would appreciate it so much. I want to find her grave. No one has ever went there to put any flowers on her grave. That is soooo sad I think. All of her siblings are almost all gone. ONly two of them are left an they were younger than her so they don't have much info.at all. She was a baby when she died I believe.

Google your key words...another thing you can do is to communicate with historical societies in the area or funeral homes, churches.
Once you find the cemetary you think she is in, they should have a directory of names of people buried there. Good Luck. |
