I live in NW OKC, but am considering relocating to Yukon to get to better schools, less traffic, smaller town. Anyone have any experiences to share of what life is like in Yukon?

Yukon is nice, has everything. Good schools, beautiful area, lake, proximity to a large city without the crime that goes along with big cities, shopping, restaurants. You'll like it there.

Yukon is a growing community. I work there. It has all you need right there and unless you need to go to a large mall or head to Bricktown or something you will never have to venture in to the city. Cost of living is good, schools are good, and it is a great place to be.

Thanks for the helpful responses. We currently live in Nichols Hills, OKC, which is a nice area, and when we've mentioned to people the possibility of moving to Yukon, we've gotten some remarks along the lines of "Are you crazy?" But the whole idea of moving to a smaller community has nice appeal. I appreciate the feedback -- makes me think maybe we're not crazy
