Default East Oklahoma Events

What do they have going on in Oklahoma in the next few months? Any art and craft fairs? Anything else going on?

Anything like the War Eagle Craft Fair in Arkansas that takes place in October?

HI Jessaka, I'm sure there's a lot of things going on, but the only thing I know about is the Pelican Festival in Grove and I believe it's in October.

There are a lot of events going on in the entire state. You'll just have to look at the local city websites for more info. You might try the TravelOK.com:* Official Oklahoma Tourism Info. Site website, it's the tourism website for Oklahoma and you can look at the different regions and their promotions for crafts, fairs, and such. Generally I've found there to be far more such fairs in the spring and fall, but I'm sure there are things going on all over. You might even try the Prison Rodeo in McAlester!

Go to the website below. You can click on which activities you'd like to browse (arts, crafts, themes, etc) and then do a search for the entire state.

TravelOK.com: Events Search

I did one for arts, crafts, and music event. The following choices came up (I chose "all regions." You can always discard the areas that are too far away)
TravelOK.com: Events List

There's also this website:

BTW, Tulsa has a spectacular fourth of July celebration. Go to the RiverParks (Pedestrian bridge on 21st street over the Arkansas River). You can view the fireworks and laser light show they put on over the downtown skyline and the Arkansas River. I haven't been in several years, but when we were there in '01, it had to be the biggest fireworks display and laser light show I've ever seen.
