Hi All:

I'm an artist from New York who's working on an art project. A while back I photographed the wide open areas of western OK and want to return to finish it.
When I was there, I stayed in Arnett and traveled to Laverne, Gage and Shattuck. I'm looking for oil and gas fields to photograph the wells and tape the sound they make.
I'm planning to come out either in late summer or around Thanksgiving, but do not know if either time is good. When I was there last time it was mid summer and I really enjoyed it; the wild hot weather doesn't bother me.
Any suggestions?

you would have to decide if you want August with greens still in the trees or November with many trees shedding their leaves. That is if there would be any trees in the background of your oil field area photographing.
