Netflix is currently streaming "Where the Red Fern Grows".

I encourage everybody, especially Oklahomans and Arkansans to view it because it's part of your heritage in a lot of ways.
Maybe not in hunting but the can do spirit and willing to do what it takes.

This is a story about a boy and his hunting dogs that is paramount to Oklahoma history. A story of inspiration and loss. A story of joy and happiness.

If you haven't read the book or seen the movie; it is about Ozark and Oklahoma pride.

Read the book and see the movie. It doesn't matter, if don't you cheer in the beginning and cry at the end, I don't know. It's a part of AR-OK pride.

I saw that movie years ago and had to choke back the tears , for a man that's 6'1" and 280 lbs that's quite a feat. The sequel to the first movie is pretty good too. I highly advise everyone to rent it and watch it. PS make sure you have plenty of napkins.

Very touching movie. Was it set or filmed in OK? Wasn't aware of that.

I've gone through the Ozark mountains. Beautiful place! Too bad that there aren't that many jobs thereabouts. Any suggestions on where to go camping?
