Yea, I like that one, too. Funny that I like some of those songs when I really don't care for country music. I love the old rock n roll songs. You know the ones that our parents thought would be the ruination of the world and now they're called "soft rock"?

No, I never would have thought Eric Clapton would be considered soft rock! But, I guess he is!

Wow, born and raised here and I agree/identify with 7 of those, that's a joke...haha! As for an F-150 being a bigger status symbol than a BMW, are you kidding me...?

I would hope that Dodge Ram was a bigger status symbol here. I love that truck. And we owned one but we got in a 4 auto accident on an L.A. freeway, and we lost our truck. Now I would have really cried had it been red.

I don't think I have seen any BMWs around here. When I lived in Del Mar everything was BMW, Mercedes, and Hummers. I was driving around in an old beat up VW and just being cool. Del Mar is a really rich area.

Funny...here in Germany, all the "taxis" are either BMWs or Mercedes. I have a 2005 Mustang GT over here and the Germans hold it in high regards...go figure.

I recall it being much the same when I was in Germany in the 80s. Some Germans would have a Camaro or some other American car (my landlord had a Dodge van) and they held them in VERY high regard.
