Myself, I'm a Certified Small Engine Repair Technician,19yrs exp,. here in OK, unless you own the business like I did in Ca, this work is semi-seasonal.
I work in Marlow.
If OK. had enough snow to where people were more inclined to use snowblowers it would be more annual.
One bad thing about being "stereotyped" for 19 years is: hell, I don't even know how to write out a resume, but I'm working on it. lol

Sorry, MKFarnam for misspelling your name---at least twice
As you probably remember, snowblowers are a necessity around these parts as are lawnmowers. Business would be year around

no problem, it happens all of the time, they either put an H after the N or a U between the N and M.
I had plans of moving to Ohio before I to a look at OK. I've always managed to keep things going.

Taxes in Oklahoma are lower than in a lot of states, though. If people are overtaxed in this state, then why are people going to the polls so much in order to vote higher sales taxes upon themselves? They seem to get talked into doing this to provide funding for better streets, new jail or police station on up to a huge new arena. You'd think if the area is growing from more people moving in, enough funding could be raised without raising taxes.

2. Nope! He turned in his resignation, we bought a house off the Internet, took a deeep breath and JUMPED! I worked at Wal-mart for a short time until he found a job that "fit" and the rest is history.
3. We think it is just fine, but we only have CA to compare it to.

Actually, I should have addressed Jessaka's post # 85.
She replied in her post # 88.
Was anyone else there in about 1981/82?
I would be interested in your experiences.
Thanks

Lady, Did you even go look at the house first? We saw our home on the Internet and I hated it, but then we came and looked at the houses that I loved off the Internet, and ended up liking and buying the one I hated and now like. LOL. Actually, there was a house in Hulbert that looked like a cabin, not log, with a fireplace and I loved it so much. It looked like those you see on covers of books that are really old and run down. I fell in love with it, and I took photos of it when we came here, and my husband just hated it, said it was junk and needed too much work. I think I would have preferred it still, but then we didn't get to look inside because he said that the outside was run down too much. You know it was one of those Ma & Pa Kettle homes, complete with donkeys and horses and a friendly dogs outside. If only the people had been home.
