I actually think that cabin has potential. It just needs a new roof and some mud between the logs, maybe a floor. i keep telling my DH that i want to keep our old shed, but he has plans on tearing it down when it builts a shop. I wanted a doll house for myself with that old shed.

If your grass is tall you should spray it for chiggers before you mow.
We're in West Tulsa... Reasonably quiet neighborhood, but close to everything.

What in the world are you going to do with a giant doll house?

Haven't been bitten by chiggers yet.

It's been nice and cool since the weekend... Hope it lasts a while,
but I'm not counting on it.

Welcome back Jessaka!

Hey CG,

So did you finally plant your roots in a place you'll call home or is this just temporary until something better comes alone? Oh, and hows the job hunting comeing along?

Thanks for the pics, CG. It made me feel a little sad to see you leaving that pretty country. Is that really true, that you had never been west of Niagra Falls? You must feel like you are in the wild west here.

Anyway, great to have another photographer here in OK. You should consider a career in chicken photography.

Thumbs up Nice pictures

Good shots there CG, but no need to say sorry for the "Good Riddance Ohio". You took the only good picture possible of Ohio "the Crapper". That one picture will speak Volumes of Ohio's true nature. And we thank you for such a beautiful picture too.

I think it is safe to say that SPRING has arrived in Oklahoma!

The Scissortails have arrived en masse:

The Kingbirds are diving for bugs and chattering at anything that comes too close.

The young Jays are looking a little *fluffy*

Momma is looking a little ragged this year...not sure how many seasons she has left:

And the flowers are just bustin' out ALL over!!!

Even simple little clover flowers look nice.

We'll be busy here for quite a while...
When things settle down a bit, I'll start taking pics
of all the cool places we come across.

I'm really liking the "Peggy Style" of out the car window photography.
I think it would be cool if everyone here did that.

We're renting a neat little place in West Tulsa
thanks to GP and schousse, and we'll be saving to
get some land and have a spread like GP in a year or two...

Applied for a ton of jobs this weekend...
Hoping to hear something this week...

BTW... Those weaselly head hunters have gotten REALLY good at making listings that look like actual jobs... I've never gotten a job through a headhunter, and I don't know anyone who has.

I will admit though... Tulsa seems to have a primo IT job market.
Wish me luck folks!!

I think it was time to leave New England...
We've been there all our life and it's kind of lost it's glow...
Especially in the Winter.... I think I've shoveled enough for 2 lifetimes.

Yes, we've never been west of Niagara.
Been south to Key West,
Been all over the east, and been North to Valleyfield, Quebec.

Actually, the North Country in NH was a lot more wild
than it appears to be here... GP's spread being exception.

So, (DRIFT ALERT!) will you be attending the air show?

I did get one good shot in OH...

We missed the best views due to passing trucks,
but I have a shot of the Budwiser building.

I know you won't be leaving there for a while,
but after reading you for a few months, I think
you'll like OK.

Or should I say OK will be okay for you guys.
