Default Great Pics - Splendid Colors

Synopsis and LadyRobyn,

You guys really outdid yourselves! Those were crisp in color and detail. I love any picture that has sunsets and sunrises. I love any pic that contains a city's skyline. Fabulous stuff (now imagine me giving the raising-the-roof motion or the 'we're not worthy' motion --- in that order).

Hey Synopsis, how about posting a few pics of where you live in TX? We would like to see what it looks like where you live too, you know.

That's a great idea. I don't think Tx. has a pic forum for us to look at. Guess it's only in forums where picture addicts like myself join in on.

I posted plenty in the Fort Worth forum. These were taken at parks and the neighborhood near my house. Enjoy!

Taken Last Winter (right after Christmas)

Spring Pictures (taken in March or April)

And some more in this thread taken at Chisolm Park right before Christmas.

Some of those in the last thread are duplicates of pics in the others. Sorry..

Hurst is actually a very pretty area with lots of trees. A lot of Urban renewal is going on as well.

Yes, it's a good 8 - 10 degrees warmer here than in Oklahoma many times throughout the year. We're a zone or two hotter than OkC and Tulsa for sure (something I'm not too happy about, especially right now with it being 93 degrees and it's almost Oct. 10th!). I see it's 75 in OkC right now. Perfect weather. That front meets up with the big heat island we call DFW down here and usually stalls out or weakens so much that it doesn't make a difference. Earlier today the front was on our doorstep, then when it started heating up in the day it backed up about 100 miles. Argh!

Nameless, I don't know how when I responded it put it under your name. Something to do with me now being a moderator or something? I swear I didn't do anything different than I usually do. Jammie? Help! That post above is from me and not nameless! Somehow it deleted his response to my initial picture post as well. Help, I'm destroying people's posts without even knowing it!

Poor Synopsis! (forgive the muffled giggles) I am an old retired "Admin" from way back...

Looking at the post it appears that you meant to hit the "Quick reply" button below his post, but got the "Edit" button (which will be visible to you at all times now) instead. The two buttons look very similar and you aren't used to it being there just yet.
(Notice it says "Last edited by Synopsis : Today at 04:41 PM. " )

Accidents happen, I doubt they will clip your wings for this one.

That's exactly what I did LadyRobyn! I'm not used to seeing the EDIT button on someone else's post. I hope Nameless is forgiving of the error of my ways.. I will learn. Thanks, I don't feel so very bad now..
