I viewed some of the pics and it looks like Indianola is near there? I love the lake pic.

MK.. Sorry to disappoint but Duncan is East of Lawton. A little East-Southeast, but definitely far more East than South..

Oh oh, a messed up map? OK, so what town is near the Witchita Mountains?
Maybe that's one of those areas that you and your husband should check out? It really is beautiful there. It's also dry and warm, although they DO get some snowfall in the Winter, but not NEARLY as much as what you get Jammie.

Synopsis, thank you. Sometimes I think I'm a picture addict and that's my favorite thing on this site. I can browse around for hours looking at pics.

That is a good suggestion. We really like the Tulsa area~just wish there was a way to have it less populated though. OR to put employment opportunities and less snow in Grove.

We were looking at the OKC pics this morning (I saw them yesterday) and we really like Bricktown and Myriad Gardens, too. We actually like the less populated areas, as you know, but jobs are so limited there. DH would be ok, but I wouldn't.

Armywife, now I had to call my DH in to view the pics. He loves squirrels and prairie dogs and all those little animals. They really aren't cute, aren't they?

Man, those pics make me homesick!! Look at that, so much more open land in so many more areas than in some states. Look at that, some much untouched land, unincorporated beauty. Too pretty. Im gonna take a few of those pics to put in my files and make one my current desktop. {sigh}
Thats it...Im moving to Checotah!!
