The two in front look like they're planning to take the "loot" away from the other guy once he gets the bread.

He is a monk named St. Benedict who lived in the 5th century.
Benedict of Nursia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I attended a retreat last weekend at the monastery in Shawnee, OK which was held at St. Gregory's Abbey. ![]() |

Thanks for the update, Redbird. I'm not too swift when it comes to all the saints names and their purposes. Later

I love seeing the pictures. My boyfriend and I were planning a trip to Ok in August but to many little things kept cropping up. The last one was a doozy,my daughter fractured her ankle 4 days ago and she was supposed to take care of the horses while we were away. Poor kid she felt so bad...realizing there would be no riding or showing or going to France on a school trip (because she needs to work to raise money) and knowing we could not go to OK just made her feel terrible. Things happen for a reason and she is improving daily.
I like the quality of life in Maine but it is very expensive and the winters are long. Although the long winters kill all the creepy, crawly things. One night I ran outside barefoot for a reason I have forgotten and wondered could I have done this in Ok? Still considering going to OK but wondering if anyone out there would do a houseswap for 1 wk,it would be a cheap way to go. We are now hoping go go next summer and trying to find a cheaper way to do it. One child is graduating, another getting married. Please keep posting pics I love seeing them. Check out the ones in Maine. Krisk |

Although I'm in Texas, I'd houseswap with you but I'm afraid I wouldn't come back!

Maybe you wouldn't come back. I live in Bridgton Maine,it's beautiful and rt next to door to the White Mtns of New Hampshire. There are many lakes, mtns and nothing with any fangs to bite! Love the seafood here. Went to Florida resteraunt and order fried fish sandwich and it was one of those frozen square things,Yuck! Florida is surrounded by water, shocked to get processed food at a nice resteraunt..

ArmyWife, Glad your hubby kept all of his fingers!
![]() Some of those little buggers get so "tame" they get aggressive. I still think they are adorable though! Great pics as always! |
