Isn't California the same as Mexico? Or is that Texas the same as Mexico?

Both. leaning further toward Mexifornia.

To change it up a little bit, it is refreshing to see Texans in Oklahoma and I like to call it: "Oklatexas". Kinda like lake Texoma. There is not another day that goes by that I see a car, truck, van, SUV, bus, bike, RV, semi, or trailer with some form of Texas plates in Oklahoma. It is an epidemic like no other. But it is just all the motivation I need to move to Texas.
