Just past that bridge (East), there is a house on the North side of highway one, which is where my Grandfather on my Mother's side lived. His wife (not my Grandmother) still lives there from what I understand. Their back yard faces a big valley as the house sits on a hill. It's beautiful there. He passed away some 30 years ago and I always enjoyed visiting them.
I need to take a trip up there someday soon. So many memories.

Yep! There's a serious foul smell in the wind and it ain't gonna go away for quite some time, if you ask me. Its like Bjb123 once said, "Ya never know, that camper may be our future home". Lets just hope that things don't ever get that bad.

I'm looking to sell the house and move IN to a camper to lower costs and also be more mobile and move about the country to where the work is.

Wouldn't that be great to have the money to live the nomadic life, without a care.

It's not, but it also depends on how many are living in the camper. Put five big dogs and two people in a cabover camper, and it gets crowded. Or parents plus five kids in what is basically a miniature log cabin built on a small flatbed, heated with a woodstove, and it's pure bewilderment, watching them all come and go.

To me, that sounds more like fun then a hardship.
Maybe this is a sign? Maybe this is your chance to head back to OK? Someone from Tx. just posted a neat map last night and it's a good one if anyone is looking for counties with lower unemployment rates.
