Bet there are a lot of deer and deer ticks in those trees. And it may be prime sasquatch territory!

Hi Redbird! I was born and raised in Holdenville. My family all live there. It is pretty around Calvin. When you look at those hills, if you're coming in from Horntown, you might could see our little cabin amidst those trees before crossing the bridge. I can't wait to live there. Gotta sell our place in town first. We've been working on the north of town property for 4 years now. It had nothing but trees and thick underbrush when we bought it. Let me tell ya, it was a chore getting electric, water and phone lines up that rocky hill. LoL As far as ticks, we try and keep it sprayed but ya just can't get rid of all of 'em.
My nephew saw something up there last summer and it reallly scared him. The first thing I thought of was Bigfoot!

You dang well better! These are some of the best pictures I've seen on the forum. Make sure that you enter the CD photo contest when it comes around again (in the photography forum).
And like redbird, I like seeing pictures of Hughes County. Being born and raised in Gerty it's a sight to behold.

Some of our long time friends live in Gerty. It's a great place!! I love Hughes County. Been here all my life and I still love to just drive around on country roads looking at the countryside. Well, and take pictures. LoL!!

FINALLY!!!! It's HERE!!!!!
Wow. I can NOT believe it. You know how Seabeebolt is always talking about that great big truck he drives for a living? And how he puts in miles and miles and drives all day sometimes through three feet of snow (and that's just his driveway!), well, I finally got a pic of his "rig".
You go, SeabeeBolt! Meep Meep!

Hey SeabeeBolt! That's a nice "rig" you have there. Tend to over exaggerate a little do ya?
