I love these pics!!

The third pic of Robyn's reminded me of what DH and I must look like when we're spatting. I'm the blonde one, of course.

Default Horntown, Hughes County, OK pictures

Horntown is not a town. It's more like the junction of hwy 75 and hwy 270 in Hughes County, OK.

There is a store, a chiropractor and a fire department on the hwy. We had to go to the chiropractor. His nickname is bubba. He said, "...but don't call me Dr. Bubba."

Here's the store. I am sure Cherokee Moon has been by here many a time. Looks like they fix flats too.

Looks like someone is showing off their horse. (I was going to say ass, but that is just asking for a Mod Slapswat.) This is horse country. Lots of vehicles pulling a trailer with either cows or horses. And I saw a tractor pull up for diesel too.

Uh-oh. Looks like another bubba needs some refueling. Dang it! There goes the last deep fried burrito. Ya'll want pop?

This is a common site. Cow chow! Don't follow too close city boy!

Well, it's time to get on back home.

When my kids were little I would ALWAYS hear... "Hey MOM!! Look what I found! Can I keep it??" I really thought they would outgrow that stage, but no such luck... Daughter and Hubby frequently bring "Mystery Critters" here to be identified after a fishing trip.

On the way home from work the Son encounters this guy wandering in the road, a long way from a decent water source. After his impromptu "Photo Shoot" he was transported to a nearby lake.

I don't think he wants to be "Friends" !
