Boy that wind was something yesterday. It came up so fast. I wonder how far we live from each other. I have a few hundred acres on the north side of 270 between Stuart and Arpelar.

Hola! Our favorite stop for sweets. This little place in Holdenville has great cookies, etc. Don had the Cloud Nine and I had the Turtle Fudge.

I love the local city names worked into the menu. "Dirty Girty" and "Sasawkwa Swirl". Those are tiny towns in the area.

Thanks for that pic Redbird. I love the "Dirty Gerty!!." We Gerty folks appreciate any publicity we can get! Gerty is so small it's the only publicity we see on the Internet...

One of my favorite places, too. I don't go there very often, it's all just too good! I really like their German Chocolate cake, but I don't know what my favorite might be. I'd have to try them all, all over again.

We saw the German Chocolate cake today. But we didn't get any. We were actually good and only bought one treat each. (diabetes)

We had just gone to the new Sharpe's store. It is nice, but not the same as the one that burned down.

Gonna have to try the Dirty Gerty next time.

I don't have diabetes, but I also don't have any will power when it comes to goodies like those. If I get them, I eat them. I don't recommend cake for dinner!

The store is okay, but they have both Sharpe's stuff and SmallMart stuff. The times I've gone in they've been overwhelmed trying to sort out which was which and stocking shelves. Practically had to use a firecracker to get someone's attention. I'm sure things will settle down pretty soon, though.
