We even have pelicans on Grand Lake, but they are not salt water ones. Strange ain't it? Maybe they should be called Lakegulls.

Gulls are garbage hounds... they will live anywhere there is water and/or trash. Used to see large numbers of them frequently in Fresno, CA. And we've seen them around the lakes here too.

Guthrie is a really historic town. Every year at Christmas time (yikes! almost here) a Victorian walk is held, when people dress up the the period costumes and walk in the decorated streets. I am planning to take the kids there this year. Here is a link: [SIZE=-1]Festivals[/SIZE]
