We even have pelicans on Grand Lake, but they are not salt water ones. Strange ain't it? Maybe they should be called Lakegulls.

Gulls are garbage hounds... they will live anywhere there is water and/or trash. Used to see large numbers of them frequently in Fresno, CA. And we've seen them around the lakes here too.

Then if they like trash, why haven't they been in my back yard? Why did I have to clean up all the trash?

Centennial!
Here is the crowd following the Centenial Parade yesterday in Guthrie!
This is headed South on Division St. towards Mineral Wells Park where a free BBQ was waiting.

Other Pic's
A side of snow with your bird on "Thanks Giving"?
November winds off Lake Erie push a cloud of gulls across Fairport Harber just before sunset.
This was sent to me from a friend near my Birth town in Michigan, I just had to post it.

Guthrie is a really historic town. Every year at Christmas time (yikes! almost here) a Victorian walk is held, when people dress up the the period costumes and walk in the decorated streets. I am planning to take the kids there this year. Here is a link: Festivals
