And To think they took a rocket to get there... it would have been so much easier by rail!

How neat, a Minuteman living here. He will be a long way from the border though. I thought they lived and worked there?
Oh, those photos. I want to live in the Quachita Mountains, and I want to live in Guthrie so I can go to that Christmas walk. It is too far away. Maybe some year we will go and spend the night. I can move that rustic house in Hulbert there.

Synopsis
Thank you so much for the wonderful pics!! I've lived in Okla for a very long time and I've never been to many of those places. I think we need to get out there and take some road trips. Honestly, I would buy a book that had those pics and descriptions of where these places are and how to get to them. I know I can just go to Google Maps, and I have already, to find them. But how nice it would be to just have a coffee table book-full of your Oklahoma pics. Get busy. You are a fantastic photographer and I really marveled over the collecton here.

Thanks writer, but I can't take credit for the pictures. They are from DScott's website "Collection Oklahoma." He is a really good photographer. I like the Ouachita Mountains very much and would like to live there as well, if I could still earn a living. Peggy, I just love your pictures. I want one of those little four wheel miniature things like nobody's business! I think the bumps on the logs are Shellie, the Oklahoma version of Nellie, the Loch Ness Monster..

I wish I could have gotten closer to those turtles to get a better shot. They were enjoying a crowded time in the sun.

That IS what they are. I didn't notice that they were turtles until you mentioned it. I used to see that all of the time in the country in Oklahoma in small ponds, lakes, and creeks.
