Well, you took the scenic route. I have been on that road between Sasakwa and Konowa. Not good when you are in a hurry. Do you usually take the "turnpike" to Ada?

Yes, I get off at Davis and take the Chickasaw Nation turnpike, then go through Roff and on to Ada. I'm glad they have that turnpike there. I used to have to go through Sulphur and it took a lot longer. Sulphur is a pretty town but I can't stand it when you get a whiff of that sulphur smell sometimes when you go through. I always wonder where that comes from. You can sure tell why they got their name though!

I used to go to Sulphur and fill up jugs of the mineral water. That's where the smell comes from. The water is very good for your health, believe it or not.

Peggy, that last shot is just GORGEOUS!! (I'm keeping it to use for my desktop ) I got a few quick shots of the sunrise yesterday and I knew the sunset would be great but I got busy and missed it. Thank-you for catching it!!

Peggy, those pictures are just gorgeous. I love the deep colors. That's one of the things that I love about Oklahoma, the sunsets.

OMG Peggy, that last pic IS absolutely beautiful!!! They're all nice and I like the ones that have the reddish or orangish tint to them. We've been having such pretty reddish sunsets, too.

That was a real treat. We had to stop on the road to watch the best part.
