I love jalapenos; never had them fried but I'll bet they are great.

Gerty is really small. It only has about 85 people. When I was growing up there it might have had 120 or so. It's off the beaten path - there's not even a highway going through it. The nearest highway is 75, about two miles away.

Voting doesn't start until Feb 8th. Our Peggy is in there too, with one of my favorite pics! (I'm also partial to the swans picture )

C'mon Redbird! Why haven't you entered?? But remember... the subject is NATURE not Au Naturale

other awards? ( I think I'm askeered )

I like a lot of the pictures so far in the contest, including your porky little friend, LadyRobyn. The prairie dog, I mean.

Unfortunately they are not of OK and I avoid the NH

Anybody have any LIVE tornado pics?

No...

I meant "LIVE" as in you took them yourself.

It's like it's not real unless you know the person who took them...
Kind of like Peggy's LIVE pictures driving through a given town or city,
or LR's photos...

It's more real than the "canned" photos you see in the media.
It's the REAL thing...
Know what I mean?

Well...
I applaud you for bothering to gather the pics and videos,
but I was looking for as you put it...
"Personal still shots" or homemade video...
(Complete with bystander comments and expletives)

Thanks for the effort though.
