Necabin, that is a very nice pic. I guess I'm more afraid of tornadoes then fascinated by them. But there are many others who feel the same way that you do. So are you one of the storm chasers that I see on the Weather Channel?

Let me rephrase that~I don't live in constant fear of tornadoes, but I have respect for their power.

GEEEEEZZZZZ! I just watched some of the tornado videos from your link MK. They're unbelievable & fascinating. The Manitoba wedge tornado was interesting to watch. That twister just grew & grew & seemed to stay in one place for a while before it broke up. Those storm chasers must be crazy! (But thankfully so for giving everyone the info we need.)The thought goes thru my head whenever I see footage like that is I hope no one is getting hurt or killed while this went on.

No, I'm no chaser. We don't get too many here in NH. Mainly Dust Devils if any. We have had numerous wind shears and Downbursts. I'm a Wannabee Tornado chaser.
Can't you see it now. Me with my graying hair being sucked up by the wind in my little car.

I like the one video of Ellis County Oklahoma better. It's closer, and more real. Those guys were in real danger. It's just more vivid to me.

If I attempted that, I might break my leg. At the very least, pull some type of muscle.
