We graduated the same year. I hated my high school. I was very reclusive and anti-social. I was 16 as a senior and went to college at Cameron University when I was 17. Man, that was eons ago.

Me at work

From left to right in the back, Dennis and Don a couple from Arkansas and great friends of ours, then me. The woman in front with the red sweater tied around her waist is Schousse (Annemieke). The rest are the Taube family, Keri, Herman and Dakota from the Skiatook area. We were at an Amish run auction (first Saturday of every month and covers about 30 acres) and were able to get an All American pressure canner for $25.00. New ones sell for about $200........

This is me, last fall, before I got a haircut so I could start teaching.

Some of our cattle. The big red bull went to freezer camp last spring

One of my favorite shots from Enid

A bull calf last fall

Default Cool pics GP.

Amish auction? I would like to buy some Amish. How much? I like your style of working. We call it "Indian excercise".

Pretty hard to sleep when dogs are climbing over a person. And it looks like his hand, at least, was wide awake.

FWIW, there is an autoimmune disease named after us as well.

Quote:
Goodpasture’s syndrome is a rare disease that can affect the lungs and kidneys. Also called anti-glomerular basement antibody disease, it is an autoimmune disease—a condition in which the body’s own defense system reacts against some part of the body itself. When the immune system is working normally, it creates antibodies to fight off germs. In Goodpasture’s syndrome, the immune system makes antibodies that attack the lungs and kidneys. Why this happens is not fully understood. Researchers have identified a number of possible causes, among them the presence of an inherited component; exposure to certain chemicals, including hydrocarbon solvents and the weed killer Paraquat; and viral infections.
