They kept making a big thing out of it being eight years since OSU won Bedlam football. Well, you young whippersnappers, when we won in 1965, it had been 25 years!! I had a date to the game with an OU grad student and we spent a very dull night in Norman. The next year we won again and I was able to party hard at Spav's that night. These rare wins are to be treasured. Wish I could be in Oklahoma to celebrate with you.

I had a few tears two weeks ago, when Iowa State beat us right after the plane crash. Tonight I cried tears of joy instead. I love me some Cowboys.

The dropped passes! My god, I kept thinking "don't count OU out just yet..." all the way to the end.

And then on that TD play, they showed the OU guy holding the OSU defensive player, right in front of the cameras. Oh well. Guess the ref felt sorry for OU by then.

Still can't believe the game. It would've been sweet had KSU beaten either OU or OSU, but oh well, maybe next time.

Congrats to OSU.

And congrats to Tulsa Union winning the class 6A championship.

That's OK... it's not like they got as bad a deal as Boise State. My alma mater (ASU) is in for a long game against the Broncos... at least it'll be warmer in Tempe than here (31 right now).

"I'm not going to the Fiesta Bowl because Boise State doesn't play at the same level as OU..."
-- My brother-in-law, rabid and seething OU fan, before 2007 Fiesta Bowl.

I saw that! I could not believe they put Boise State 11-1 against AZ State 6-6. Wow. Oh well. Never discount any team on any given day.

The smaller schools always get a bad deal unless they go undefeated. I'm hoping Boise will eventually join a major conference.

At least Iowa is better than U-Conn last year...that was ridiculous.
