Vian is more country like to me, and I liked Vian. Not much in the way of stores there though.
Thanks for the feed back..I stayed in a Motel in Sallisaw a couple of years ago, I dont even remember which one it was now. I had planned to stay a few days but lady that worked in the office acted so weird that I got the heck out of there after one night..LOL I drove around Vian on that trip but since I wasnt' considering a move to Vian I really didnt pay much attention to it....The same goes for Gore...I have noticed that in some of the small towns do have nice homes and then all of a sudden a run down, messy looking mobiles right smack in the middle of town...Thats kind of hard for me to get used to..LOL

I have noticed a lot of comments from out of state posters on that subject. A really nice neighborhood or house is located right next to a rundown place. I never really noticed that before but I suppose it is true sometimes.

No doubt you made the best choice in Tahlequah.

Stillwell is a dump although the setting it in is probably the prettiest.
