As a comparison, Oklahoma City’s average income is ranked 61st at $40,942 and has a cost of living index of 91.7 so Oklahoma City’s average income is 86.2% of that of Denver and OKC’s cost of living is 88.9% of that of Denver.

People are better off economically in Denver than Oklahoma City, but not Tulsa.
Where do you get these averages? Im thinking they are around 3-4 years old. CD info is from 2009 which is way outdated and your other source is from 2008?
How would this be helpful unless someone is asking a question needing a past tense reply??

Denver and/or Boulder get on every one of those lists too. The issue is that it is about who wants to put their name on some list and who wants to actually get about earning a living, like the OP. Making lists means all those PR dollars are hard at work. Your response is akin to Aubrey McClendon's response to all the NY Times, Rolling Stone, Economist, WSJ, ect. articles saying CHK is a ponzi scheme and a careless operator. Considering I have lived in both places, I wanted to answer the OP's question. I have a standing offer for employment in Denver and don't take it so I guess I like Tulsa better too.
